In an envelope of dark clouds and rain here. Blowing quite hard too now,

Bleak & humid here today I'm . Big moment in the Alice thou etc Todd river there is in flood mode as such. In normal times when they run their yearly boat regatta there the river is dry . Now as we know anything goes here as such. So we are in crisis mode down here now (never seen it before in my time) as we have run out of toilet rolls for you know what in our supermarkets etc & Iran has just released 54,000 odd prisoners back on the streets there because o the corona virus crisis.

Some blue patches in the sky. Sun trying to put it's hat on. But lots of grey clouds and a little wind. Mind wind has dried the roads out a bit.

It's pissing down here etc 2'' through the night & more to come today as such. Actually raining from top to bottom here as I speak     with many areas having rain they haven't seen for close on 10 years. Now not all good thou I'm Queenslanders will be doing it tough unfortunately large carrier transporting toilet rolls there caught fire & the load was all destroyed by the TV news. Corona virus, strikes again one could maybe say .

People here Knackered are still with over 6ft of water in their homes, those of us not involved I feel do not appreciate what that means.

The weather is still unpredictable on top of which we have the virus problem.

We live within 5 minutes walk of the main hospital and they are making arrangements regarding the possibilities relative to the virus.

One being taking a swab outside the hospital of those suspected of having the problem, and not letting them in until it is determined if they have it.

Does not bode well for our sport or any other, ME THINKS.

Bet those that allowed the 6ft of water scenario there are hiding under a log some where etc Misty . Flood/fire & most are just glad I suspect that they don't find themselves caught up in such a sad situation. Now no 6ft of water as such, but brand new housing estate here all had water lapping at their new front door etc unfortunately after our recent down pore here yesterday . End of the day if a dollar can be gained don't worry about the peasant types that may be effected by your bad/criminal type decisions as it's just the norm these days for many I suspect unfortunately.

cold here this morning, looks like ill have to de ice the car shortly ...........been using a nice little camping heater i bought yesterday in the loft

Blue skies now. Not a cloud in sight. Dry roads etc. now nearly. Hardly a breeze, but cold.

the sun is out here, lovely bright day, but still cold in the shade .......

Well that makes me happy etc Hal as it's just miserable down here today .

Come to sunny Scarborough as often advertised, not get a tan but either drowned or rusted over.

Never had such bad weather over a prolonged period.
