| As usual Hal, all look in good nick.
Obviously under fed though according to feed available.
Do not think making plans at this stage a good idea, miracles do happen.

| Well can see - obviously - different so - called strains. That's for sure. But Hal they are nothing if not ALL in great condition. I'd say, especially those of us that like a distinctive shape / colours etc. you have some there. |

| Do not know what the feed is Hal but it looks a rare mixture.
Never seen pigeons in better condition, must be the daily scraping out and the elaborate loft ?????.
Regards. |

| Some one is going to be lucky Hal, health is the most important thing in the pigeon and yours appear to have an abundance of it.
Think you are right to keep a few as an interest and maybe breed a few for others.
Wish I could still keep a few.

| Personally Knackered I like to see a tails one feathers width or as near as possible when the pigeon is stood, however if the tail touches the ground it can give a different impression.

| Like most, we all have some favourite likes etc. Birds pleasing to our eye.
I thought many times in this regard. So, though it meant more patience etc. in introducing new birds, I set out to get pigeons, that not only raced well, but were good, in my eye to see etc. Yes nigh got there too. I believe, honestly, that Indeed know, that winners come in all shapes and sizes. Whilst in Canada, - They never, nor couldn't get my sense of humour lo, - A big stud from Belgium was also there. He had a book just released. Long story short, over many years many great/ good winners were documents. Shapes, sizes, weight, colours etc. etc. Length of tails, wing span. size of chests, backs etc. etc. Full particulars of many great flyers. The closing paragraph states ' Winners come in all shapes and sizes etc.

Length of tails our 5 little champs from O/S etc & Hal's baby, in some ways tends to show maybe, the difference in how things can be at times I suggest Daz . & take care. |

| One could write a volume of books regarding theories of how and why pigeons perform etc;
One thing is for certain, for every one there will be just the opposite as good.

| Another certainty is how they home! It will never be discovered how in our life's. If ever, that's for sure
That fact destroys many myths via its self. Breaking points. Lost off the top of the loft - yet wins for another loft.
The feed of nature is everything they need, wrapped up in little peas, seeds etc. They give the energy, the speed, the growth. Makes squabs grow superbly. If not, then surely it is time to ask 'Why Not and what is happening'! The constitution is lacking 'Why'! The immune system is awl and up the shoot! Why? Need one go on? Plenty more lol. And yet the very realist fact is ' We destroy the very qualities we think we can improve! Even against the prove that nature shows us every day. Incest Breeding. Human-made antibiotic, which works in its self by Poisoning everything! And Yet their ability to fight and win against it astounds us all ... except he who believe him up the pub and then the 'Names' who are being paid to spout rubbish while being paid lol Getting off now before I dribble one lol. |

| Agree Daz, wrote several times from the early eighties onwards what would happen using clinical methods and Belgium methods, but the money mad knew better and the whole sport has suffered.
It was known that the Belgium fanciers had to use Baytril every month and other products just to keep their pigeons alive, a Belgium friend said we would be well advised not to go their ways, the money mad could not care less.
I pointed out that the immune system would be ruined instead of improved.
The likes of Staddon and Lakin said I should shut up etc;
Would like to see their pigeons after a few months without any medication.
Fanciers like them that have ruined the sport for the grass root fancier.
Regards.

| That pair were vipers. No two ways about that!
The Belgium government had to clam down big time on a few 'Names' using Cortisone and many other as such. Birds - as now often - propped up to look the part. Splendid till later on. Was doing and giving the sales big harm. Also costs to their' government. Reminds me of Jesus telling the Religious leaders that were like Shiny new Graves to look at! … But inside just rotting old bones.
