Racing both ways Empty
PostSubject: Racing both ways   Racing both ways EmptyFri Jul 27, 2012 12:09 pm

Was speaking with a local fancier the other day, i wasnt aware but he concentrates on distance racing with mainly the jan aarden and kipp birds etc.

He trains his pigeons old and young both north and south and then competes both ways with the same birds so one week a bird might be at thurso and the next at carentan etc?

has anyone tried this before or any opinions on it.

years ago the pigeons were coming terrible on the north so i joined the south and sent them to the south coast and took 2,3,4,5,6 club and then the week after to Jouy le Chatel and took 3rd, 7th club and had all 21 back, 15 on the night from a very tough race but never set out to do it.
