| Seen a couple of programmes yesterday regards having some topics on Bristol.
New it to be a historical place. But not so much as it must have.
Yes, drove over the cut in Cliff overlooking the estuarial waters many times. I was always impressed too. Stay overnight once on the way to Cornwall. Even did a couple of gigs there. But was always put off by the 'Parking'! Must be in the top five in the country regards worse for drivers / Locals., Very disrespecting to drivers. Indeed a curse on small outlet and shops. Yes, bribes from more significant concerns and backhander and councillors own interests maybe. Must be killing their' trade!
But now I have my 'Blue Badge' we will, Joyce and I, check-in a hotel for three nights to take a decker. |

| Blue Badge, can park on double yellow lines etc. Maybe only 2- 3 hours. Free parking in MOST car parks Knackered.
For instance nephew son#s house is about 200 yards from the hospital. Free parking granted. Camera been put up which have never worked, or set up as such. Like many more. But now I can park 30 yards from Hospital entrance,. or in the Diabetic car park free. Average 3 times a week with blood tests/ warfarine etc. Saves £3 x 3 or for times a week - used too - £9 - £12 a week!

| Seems like it may be longer than 3 days lol.
Was doing a gig at Bristol - can't recall the venue, and can't be bothered to look upp past contracts lol
But a fellow came in with Cheese orders. Had a taster, and was well pleased. Am a cheese lover, and getting good cheese is hard to come by and certain dearer, but well worth the extra costs. I said 'That's good, real good, and wanted to buy some. He peeved me off lol saying he took orders one week and delivered the next, and only had 'Tasters on voard. So of course didn't, more's the pity, buy any lol. |
