Interesting David to see who did what type of thing there etc roughly 50/50 split looking at the top 30 . Money or the pleasure factor as one could say maybe .

Yes probably but some have to go . I think the old brigade will have to move out

i think ive still around 16 to go yet....managed to find new homes for 22 so far .

God knows how many for us as still birds off last year to try

Over stocked this year don't think any young birds next season for me took a look at the one loft auction thought the birds was in n poor condition some looked like the ends of the feathers and tail was dirty and some look bleached may be just the photos

You will surprised what they will do to make them better

Think continually buying in is a mistake until those you have, have been fuly tested and given a good chance.

Very few breed a good percentage of good performers and not taking enough young to try from the ones you have, you could be missing the ones that would have been the best.

Some fanciers decide to buy expensive wonders and then start treating them better than the ones they had because the price paid and they do sligtly better, had they treated those they got rid of better. ?????.

Funny old game.

We buy in every year to try and get better . I think it has worked for us but then again we are mob flyers , but we went from 2 to 3 wins a year to 7 then 9 so for us it paid off but that can easily change.  We love trying different birds and get great pleasure doing so

Each to their own and you deserve the rewards for the efforts you put in.

As I have said many times, if you get the pleasure you require, irrespective of anything else, then you are a successful fancier.

sounds simple etc only 300 odd to pick from take me a week or so to just go through them all as such here Misty .

my way of thinking etc Ray . Suggest thou not many there like our little champ 93 actually fit the bill, when one does the numbers as such. More flash in the pan, one day wonder types on average I found than the reliable head down **** up types come race day there. Which brings me to another issue of sorts presentation looking at many of the photos & the condition shown on average I now understand why they went looking for a tail wind most of the time     as a cold head wind all the way in the final could have been a total disaster in some ways, maybe .

Come on Knackered it would keep you away from the lemon tree.

Although I agree some do not look the real deal.

Then you now what they say about looks.

The ones I picked fit the type I like, and flew reasonably well.

Ok But please just remember thou I know absolutely nothing etc So, my choices are Misty 1, 2 & 3 I'm   & be dammed what they may just look like    .

What to do etc when one is rained in for the day on top of the corona virus as such Just go looking for a cheap bargain, maybe . So forget the 1/2/3 bit above completely out of my price range in the end here I suspect some how. But maybe a few also rans at the bottom of the list may just have some scope in the breeding barn. Lot 279, lot 282 & lot 97 all took my fancy for some strange/weird type reason & the cream on the cake in the end was lot 280, which I found most interesting for myself in some ways here etc Misty .

Normally its fanciers elete birds or so they think so most of the time you should get something decent

Could the reason be the very high prices presently offered Knackered.

Both for less than a bag of the highly polished poison bandied around.

Having said that, something wrong me thinks if the fancier/fanciers concerned think their best are worth so little.
