800 miles, not on your doorstep then knackered Son spent a few years just outside of Uralla, remote farm didn't have any near neighbours at all, Armidale was nearest larger town and had a pigeon racing club. Cold in winter but uncomfortably hot in the summer, danger of bush fires etc

I know it's nice living in hot countries probably, not that I have been abroad but I think I would struggle with the heat personally, so I am pleased I live where I live . I know now we get floods now worse than ever but I would hate what some countries get is heat waves 14 inches of snow ect . So really we are lucky to not get it too bad . Obviously the floods are horrific for some , I know that and I sympathize with them . So given the choice where would you live ?...me I haven't a clue

True Barnie Bush fires thou are always a danger here I'm . 80 odd houses burnt to the ground just in the last few days with a fire burning out to the west in Perth here type of thing. Fires are like snakes or a mouse plague down here one just learns to live with them etc .
