went to lock up, there's a dark cock always full of himself gone and decided to go in the box above and fight so 2 x yb trampled, one dead the other touch and go. Then he's gone in the next box along and their eggs smashed, just about ready to hatch.

I had him in my hands to do the deed but rightly or wrongly left him till I calm down. Thats what I mean when I say you can't count your chickens in this game Evil or Very Mad

He'll probably be the first one to go missing when racing starts anyway

nightmare ,had it a few times and always the same outcome ...they had to go as they all did it again in the end usually not to long a wait before they started performing again ,i had small boxes to like yours colin they were 16 inch square but since i had bigger boxes that are 30"x 15" i have not had the problem ...maybe a coincidence ,sorry to hear colin

yes darren I'm thinking about these boxes too, once a wrong in goes in they can't get turned around and out once the other 2 get stuck into them

yes thats it colin they get trapped in and cannot get ousted eh,even though i went for the traditional 30" widowhood boxes i still leave half the box open once paired by taking one of the doors off ,also i had cocks coming out of boxes at night when the security light came on and when it went off they would go back into the wrong box Rolling Eyes

so had to put a curtain in to....always something to think about eh

Hate pigeons like that in my experience with them they never make anything good be it stock or race birds all ways the first to duck
