| Last week I bought at a rediculous price Pork Lion. Still at Morrisons at 34 a Kilo! I bought a few whole and sliced in to steaks for the freezer.
I place 3 steaks in a freezer bag for easiness to take out for a dinner amount. Any fat on them - very little really, is chopped up and spread on top of the steak and wrapped in foil. Gives an added taste as such. Or sprinkled with Paparicka.
I remember, when I worked for Tesco's, the butcher used to make 'Steaklets'! Was really fat with a little oddment of meats added and paparicka. Sold out ever week in no time. Constantly asked for when not on the shelf. Was tasty true. |
