2022 Eggs laid .

eggs this morning when i went in the loft...........paired up last saturday afternoon, must have laid sunday evening , 9 days, expecting more tomorrow when i go in.

rung my first 2 ybs today, they were two early bred ones i hatched for a friend .

good luck david, weather been quite mild and bright so hopefully they are all full, few weeks and see your corn bags empty

yes it has colin, not had much of a winter really, down to my last 6 bags of corn i bought beginning of december, so should be ok for a few more weeks yet while they are sitting .....

Corn merchant says he'll be round yours early doors tomorrow David, just loading up now

yes Misty should be enough grub there to get the first round off anyway, good feeder is David

he would have to buy the house next door there to store it all I suggest Misty sort of thing that rolls of the farm down here when certain blokes at times stock up like myself. 9000 acres of goodies for their pigeons if required delivered to ones front door. End of the day maybe one of those things Tanveer here could possible give some thought too for his bunch of merry men there, if possible & as long as the quality there is of the highest order.

We used to buy bulk for the club and let the lads take and buy at will.

Found at the end of the year the figures did not add up, some had been taking and not paying..

Never caught the culprits but stopped doing so, had a good idea who was involved and not the
ones with the least money.

I used the same supplier who I classed as a friend for over 45 years.

On another note, the woodies in the garden are nesting, wonder if they know something we do not.

Just hope everything works out well we could do with cheering up.

Dishonest pigeon flyers well I never etc appears more a management type  issue there maybe Misty more so than a supply one more cash in hand down here no money no feed type of thing, seen a truck load here, disappear like a flash of lightning & the last time many loaded up here as a group, one simple bag was un accountable at the end of the day apparently.

Some ones pride & joy I suspect somehow Misty Boris & the like may just think they keep things rolling along but suspect in certain ways its the like of the above which actually does in the end as such for the local peasant brigade etc. Sack Boris     world a better place     sack all truck driver types     somewhat of a different world I suggest      maybe.

just had a quick look at eggs, got around 30 so far, and more still to lay .....not a lot of ybs for sale on elimar .

Soon be able to start an Egg farm David.

Little or no interest being shown on the RPRA auction.

Think the uncertainty at the present time may be having an effect.

7 days paired now and some hens standing in the bowls, fingers crossed first eggs over the next few days, ideally all go down in a few days of each other but we know this rarely happens. Some cocks driving like idiots, bouncing off the walls, windows, drinker, perches, some I got in to try never seen cocks so savage hopefully calm down when their hen lays.

i seem to be getting 2 eggs in all nests so far, no single eggs yet .........weather been very mild so hopefully get a good hatch %

i reckon you'll have eggs in a couple of days colin, mine started laying on day 9.

Yes think so David, just stuck my head in and a 2yr old hen just laid so this starts chain reaction maybe

most of mine on 2 eggs now, only new pairings who arnt yet .......
