| Not settled on what to feed this season. I'm not a big fan of too many maples in the mix, that's just my preference, preferring green peas. But all the mixes I looked at the green peas are poor and shrivelled, not a patch on last years. Wonder if it was a real poor year for peas crops or if the best been filtered out for human grade and the rejects used for animal or pigeon feedstuffs? |

| all of them David, everything gets pretty much the same, 2 x different mixes together in varying amounts, slightly more peas and protein for YB's |

| I always used the same mix all year round, the time I deviated from nature the most.
But think open loft all year round offset any detrimental effect.
No doubt at times the quality varied as it does in nature from year to year and this I feel the pigeons system adapted to any change in quality and the weather (intake) etc; and adapt accordingly.
I feel if one goes too clinical and too particular when you do get a problem it is a real beauty the pigeons unable to deal with it.
Regards.
