One somehow never quite knows etc David I suggest he could just be hopefully the next Daz here as such or even eventually replace our Misty or myself here shortly .

the forum has taken many twists and turns in its life time knackered, as you know .....each time we loose a valued member the forum also looses a bit more of its "spark" .....it is / has been living on borrowed time for the last few years, its only been the die hard members who have supported us and kept us going .

one day the forum will be silent, and its topics and posts, laughs and disagreements a distant memory ......

True Often wondered here etc David why it has been so as such are those of us here posting on a regular basis, so intelligent with out intelligence factor that we scare & confuse  with what we say somehow     new comers here from maybe joining at times & simply having something to say etc End of the day       how bright here does one need to be to join in with our general banter process     I suggest, when one has a Bricklayer           & a simple Plumber type     running rampant at times here with their thoughts maybe & confusing opposite views  .

maybe they are too intelligent for us simple types knackered, or maybe pigeons are more of a dying hobby than we realise, pigeon forums have gone very quiet over the last few years, i think fanciers prefer to go on facebook .........why i dont know, yes i am a member of certain groups on facebook but i rarely or in fact never go on them, but some prefer them to forums.

you never know, we might get a massive influx of new and old members, and we will be rushed off our feet replying to/ reading all the topics ......

Not too long ago we had 833 viewers looking in.

Think when a contravertial topic crops up the grape vine goes to work and we have visitors.

Think the best way to have a close knit site is if all can be involved in at least
one aspect, like the OLR, and have various differing opinions on both our sport and general matters.

Over the years I doubt if any aspect of our sport has not been covered many times over.

Tis the individuals experiences that I find interesting and every fancier must have many such.

For myself I spent over 50 years and hundreds of letters and articles in an attempt to save the sport from those who have been on the Council of the RPRA for over 40 years and refused to accept the necessary changes and some are still there.

Have made my feelings clear as to what I feel the future holds and am happy with that.
