If a fancier bought 400 young birds and lost that many racing he/she would commit HARRY CARRY, maybe not one would win but surely 90% would return from such distances.

rpra say they have had a sticky day 613 home from 30mls they started with 1170 birds Cotswold 101 birds for 2nd race started with 400 birds

Well that trainer did not go to plan very strange cleared bang online birds we’re bouncing but all broken up so we can only guess what happened on route.
After today I decided tomorrow they will be loft flown and we will mark either Sunday or Monday for a Monday or Tuesday race from Ashbourne will pick best day weather wise.
Will update again tomorrow evening.

Figures disturbing George.

Even more so when they appear to think everything is fine.

No explanation for losses they just plod on regardless.

Maybe time to say if my pigeons do not enter every race I want my money back.

what Cotswold said was birds have been reported all over the country yet only 3 have been returned also they can't all just disappear

why is it one lofts have big losses but clubs/feds dont seem to have the same % of losses, on the whole judging by results ive seen clubs/feds are getting decent returns ...

clubs and feds don't have a large corn bill also how do we know the birds on basket list have gone

im getting to disbelieve more and more about one lofts and how they operate george, its the same every year half the birds lost/gone before the first race .....

olr i was in not now 99mls 3 hrs none home yet

dear oh dear ....looks like we did well to have something in the final every year ,how is the rpra debacle coming along ...are they still on holiday

friend was 4th in north west white loft final has already won £1500 this week total so far this year from olr over £5000

Can only see one for the Whitby Boys who were doing very well.

60 from 95 winning vel down to 900y/min that's 60 from 400 there won't be many for the auction never mind the final
rpra are still training

Confused here George.

Do the participants retain ownership of their entrants ?.

If so any lost and found would be reported to them and nor the OL.

Unfortunate the numbers are not as good as some club races.

Think the OLs are having a bad time all round.

Very nice to get a prize but think it a lottery.

Hot Spot One Race Marking.
I can confirm we will be marking the Rpra One Loft birds today late afternoon and racing from Ashbourne tomorrow mid morning.
They will be all hand scanned and I have a team of six coming that have helped for a few years.
Duncan Cook will be convoying the birds and video the liberation with myself at the home end.
Will be a marked list online tonight around 8pm.
Let’s get ready to rumble

637 birds marked and 5 birds left either late or injured.
They will be liberated around 11am tomorrow morning.

not sure misty with rpra they are transfer to them not with most of others they do have a clip ring with olr number
