think was it March we had the heavy fall of snow in the 60s

ice-cream man has started coming again  just had 2 tubs 

heard what i think was a lawnmower in the distance earlier, reminded me i need to do a bit of pre spring tidying ........might try prune and cut grass if its a dry day one day this week .

my grass is long but never looked so good

it always does look good when long george, nice and green etc .......its when you cut it that it looks worse

When you have finished David you could give my son and son in law a hand in cutting 20ft off a siver birch, prune apple, pear and plum tree, cut down and cart away a 15 ft fir tree.

Hate cutting anything down they provide home for birds etc; but just too big now.

The beech tree is higher than the house and would need a tree surgeon to deal with it, my friend cut 6ft off 4 years ago and it has put more than that back on.
The houses were built on farmland and the beech tree was part of the hedge of a field, and all up the street have one.

It is just far enough from the house not to do any damage if it fell that way so it will be left for someone else to deal with.

Will take before and after photos and put them on when my son shows me how.
