| You are probably right George, me still doubtful, like all three, as said at first the blue would be my choice.
Just hope matters overall improve and gives both fanciers and pigeons a chance.
Think the weather will affect some fancier's choices regarding breeding etc; and the uncertainty at the present time.
Regards. |

| sometimes george, but usually the hens will fight each other. If they do pair and not fight, unless you float eggs you got a problem with sitting full term then rearing strong youngins. |

| ive had one cock paired to three hens for the last couple of years.......i didnt purposely pair them together they just decided to do it them selves. they nest on the floor and the hens all lay in the same nest, which i take four eggs away and just leave two......ive found each hen will sit the eggs and once they hatch they all feed the young birds, but once the babies are getting bigger it tends to be one main hen who feeds them and covers them, while the other two still stand guard and protect them the cock does feed the babies but he doesnt seem to do much, its mainly the hens, i dont really want it this way but just leave them to it, but the only thing i dont like is that i have no idea who the mother is ....... |
