Just the opposite George if the pigeons were a threat, changing race points would not solve the threat. The point is there is no evidence that they are. Regards. |

| a lot seem to think there will be no racing this year george, defra has certainly blown avian flu up this time compared to other years, they seem to have the same approach as they did with covid, scare and manipulate people into complying ......the more fanciers comply the worse its going to get. |

| I think for whatever reasons they were too sure that the restrictions would be lifted in time so hadn't a plan B in place. So now it's too late in the day and end up with egg on their faces. |

Anyone thinking of going to Blackpool and looking on some RPRA information sites could still think everything is alright by some sites. Sureley they should take them down. Regards. |

Regards. This was their advert promoting the show just last week: painting everything was rosy when they knew there were problems round the corner: madness |

| more deceiving than madness for me ,they know the score they have all the bird-flu rules and are aware more than anyone else having the facts/up-dates to hand ...as regions come under restriction they will be e-mailed immediately i just hope fanciers get a discount on the door for a depleted show ? i wonder if theres a new manager in place yet or is old blakey running the show |

| with all these restrictions in place over avian flu, and pigeon men having restrictions place on them, farmers and other bird / poultry keeps have restrictions placed on them ........i wonder what restrictions have been placed on the rsbp and their man made nesting sites for hawks / bops etc within restricted areas ...? |

| good point david i never thought of that but of course as we know when it comes to rspb favorites like birds of prey they have special treatment and are allowed to litter their nest site with dead bird debris and poop etc...which may be contaminated of course ...i remember an article a while back stating they can spread the disease |

| exactly darren, they could be spreading it by killing/eating infected birds etc .........questions need to be asked.
