don't hold your breath  with my olr birds had a look in 2013  none made it to first hotspot  think that he took the birds 3 mls first toss let few hundred go he then let few more hundred go the first batch went back to this 2nd batch and hundreds were lost

similar story every year george ..........half usually gone one way or another before the first race .......

no i dont think they are george, but with a combination of health problems, bop / hawk attacks and dubious management methods i reckon thats why half go missing .

yes and another strange thing the 3 birds i bought 2 were in rpra name one in owners name which was transferred to me

Not bad birds George, bad management.

Every useless short toss puts the pigeons at risk and does nothing for their health or education.

Complete waste of time.

First toss should be at least 25 miles and I bet there would be less losses.

Should have open loft every day.


Doubt if some fly more than a couple of miles a day under the present set up.


Trouble is they never learn.

i think thats true george, every time ive seen videos of the rpra one loft birds they are mostly sat about on the loft roof or on the grass, only small groups seem to be circling around the loft .......

car booked in for MOT next wednesday, i hope it passes

must be nice to own a car and not worry about mot

buy a car 40 years old or over george, no MOT required and tax exempt .......insure it on classic car insurance 100 quid a year

easy to maintain your self, with no big garage bills

mine is 27 years old bought it 2013 had 16,000  mls on the clock still  had original tyres  i replaced them

mines 16 george, 2007 , had it 12 years .........got 200,000 miles nearly, will keep it until it goes to the scrap yard, have wasted thousands on buying cars and vans over the years, i wont be wasting any more.

Ford Fusion had 3,000 miles on the clock 2008 at 3 years old, old lady had it, serviced every year.

Now 78,000 last time serviced.

Before that always had a company car until I had to start separating company business from personal.

So bought my own new ones and claimed monthly costs.

Had two new Rovers and a new Peugeot (spelling ?_} afterwards.

Daftest thing I ever did, cashed some shares in Barclays to pay for the first one which now would be worth
a fortune, instead of paying on the knock.

Youngish and stupid sprigs to mind.
