Ok     we all have our problems etc George maybe different but a burden us old folk in general battle most days now I somehow suspect.

anyone feed peanuts which ones i did when had the show birds but can't remember much i think we soaked them to take the oil out then put over the corn

Had peanuts in the mix throughout the year and used as a titbit always had some in my pocket.

Best way to make friends and keep them happy and tame.

Used the same source for over 50 years (Four Oaks) still use them.

Still have a half bag of pea nuts for the wild life, stopped feeding the townies though, crush some up for the bluetits that go into the squirrell feeder as do the blackies, never seen one ill from them, appear as fit as fiddles.

went to the DIY for piece of ply wood it was 7ft long so ask him to cut it in half he did the dark side is wrong way round  do it look cut in half to you

covering the corridor floor the last ply i did not treat so wet shoes cause it to rot

Found marine ply lasts the longest, but also treated it periodically.

Times have certainly changed from when I delivered meat by means of a bike with a basket on the front accompanied by Anne the butcher's daughter on another bike.

Also helped in the shop, cleaning and scrubbing along with going with the butcher when killing pigs for farmers etc;

Half a crown and an ox tail my reward.

Them were the days.

take it back if your not happy with it george, if someone asked me to cut something in half i`d measure it, not ust guess it .........

well done morgan on yer job there ,one of those steaks would feed a family not so sure about the lizard fetish though regarding the ply being cut well wonders will never cease eh ,i would take it back in fact i would not have left the building with it ,surely he measured it

i thought he had the thing is he never said anything when i told all he said was i know

if its not right for what you need it for george take it back ......tell them they are lucky your not charging them taxi fare .

too many people getting away with things, and not being held accountable .

they know me why i needed it cut was i was on the bus so just said cut it in half if it had not done the job i would have told him what i found funny it was a diy shop

i think he wants to buy himself a tape measure george .....

i told the boss we had a good laugh he was not a young chap must be 40-50 years old

will do some more cleaning out today, only do a bit per day so its done for when i separate them ...might cut grass again,only did it 2 days ago .
