hearing has started to go

hearing was never great but now can't hear the TV or phone ringing

get a free hearing check george, aids are very small nowadays ....

i cant hear as good in my right ear, but it has its benefits sometimes when im trying to sleep, i lay on my good ear so i cant hear the wife watching tv .

or talking to me .......

Had hearing aids for over ten years.

When hearing started to go got in touch with the NHS through my doctor.

Went for test and been supplied with aids and batteries ever since.

Almost ran out of batteries week ago.

Rang hospital department got batteries in three days by post, even when post strike was on.

Give your doctor a ring George frustration regarding not hearing is no fun.

Have friends who have paid thousands for aids but hear no better than me.

Chinese mate next door here George/Misty is one of those people go to here too spend thousands on hearing aids etc. Always telling me to come & see him at his clinic & he will give me mates rates as such .

Nothing worse than when things start to go . I think my right eye is starting to get worse and it petrifies me . Hopefully you get it sorted

i have glasses for laptop and another pair for tv

i cant read text messages or instructions on food for cooking etc, i have some reading glasses to help with this, and also for the laptop.........yet can read a car number plate from distance .

at least ya cant hear all the rubbish on tv

Get the appointment made today George for your hearing to be accessed, only takes a few minutes.

One of the few things we fall out over is when my wife has said something that I have not heard and she thinks I have.

Cannot use the phone, got fed up asking for a repeat, my wife answers all phone calls.

Have both reading and driving glasses, lost sight in left eye through bodged operation but right eye has not deteriorated much over the past few years but have glucoma and use eye drops every night in the good eye and have done for over 6 years.

Get on with it George.

No George, not only the television that bothered me it was talking to other people and not hearing what they were saying, could have been nodding my head at anything.

Advise strongly get the hearing aids.

it is a slim tv but can't remember when i bought  it must ask my son he may have been working at Curry's p/t then

that's the problem with the slimline flat screen TV's there's no depth to them to house a decent speaker.
Good old fashioned TV's had room for a decent size speaker, look at Hi-Fi speakers, they are generally deeper than they are wide. Need depth for better sound.

Have a look at sound bars George, plug in to TV and do improve things, I had to get one of these myself. This one sits on a bracket under the tv set.

Couldn't say for sure George but I'd stick my neck out and say anything bought in the past 7 years because that's how old this set is pal

i know mine is over 10 years
