Pensioners are getting a 10% increase in pensions. HOORAY, many will receive maybe say £13 a week more electricity, gas and groceries etc; are now well above that and the £13 wiped out on just heating etc; Fell very sorry for those on the basic pension after working all their life and, although I have every sympathy for those seeking asylum my blood boils at the treatment they get and our own are desperate. Something not quite right. Regards. |

| Feel sorrier for those setting the alarm going out to work, plenty folk on minimum wage, unsociable shifts, weekends away from families and getting no increase in salary or a measly 2% if we're lucky. Some workers having to swallow their pride and visit food banks to feed the family, trying to keep a car on the road to get to work as not living on a bus route, the list goes on....Something not right there either. |

| i think sometimes they recover from illness when young, and still carry it in them, and can pass it on to their ybs ..or it can reoccur in them in later life . |

| my money on him being a paratyphoid carrier, had hens rear 2 yb on their own when cock wasn't a keen feeder. Pigeons can be clear of symptoms but still be carriers, this is from experience not a guess. |

| Canker is the worst problem with carriers.
Never show any sign themselves but pass it on to their young and may miss a generation before showing it's self again.
That is why I never brought in new stock once I had established a naturally healthy team with no need for any medication as I have said many times over the years, every new loft member can ruin the whole loft and need constant both preventative and curative treatments.
Very easy to ruin very hard to cure.
Best bet with any like the mealy George, get rid.
The art is having naturally healthy pigeons not knowing all the cures Etc
Regards.

| Seems 2 years running ended up giving same problem George, something definitely up with that cock, especially when you're other birds are fine. I know you love them as pets and a pastime which I appreciate is important to you. In a racing loft I'd be saying bye to him but in your case I at least wouldn't breed from him or use him as a feeder, or float his eggs either. |

If he was that good George why would he part with it. Be a bad idea to get fanciers cast offs. Get the ones you have tested and go from there. Regards. |
