Pity you could not form a partnership George. However, there are now fanciers who only indulge in OL racing and just breed to enter them, mostly monied people. Oh for the days when you could hardly see a garden or allotment without a pigeon loft. Happy times. Regards. |

| I enjoyed racing in partnership, racing and managing the birds was easier because it was shared, plus the person I raced with knew a lot more about it than me.......how to feed, pair up, vaccinate , train etc etc |

| Yes, you do have to get on with each other and it can be hard at times.
No good if you do not enjoy it.
Let's see how the OL pigeons do.
Regards. |

| I've got around 30 pairs Jon, last time I raced was about 6 years ago, I just breed young birds and sell them on the internet since then, I may give by racing a go next year, I'm not certain, still deciding ....two sacks will last me around 6 weeks . |

Lot of pigeons David to feed all Winter. Are any of the current pigeons settled ?. Could maybe mix selling with racing. Seems a pity not to have a go when you are lucky to be in a good club, not many of them left. Regards. |

| Yes, Redband has always had aniseed in it.
Never used aniseed other than to hang a small bag in the loft pigeons like the smell.
