We     welcome all here etc David none of us are perfect I suggest. Have that many notes down here now & also string tired to many different things with my mindset matter as it is now, it would be rather embarrassing somewhat here I'm   if I ever let it slip somehow unfortunately for all the world to then maybe know as such    .

like me when i was driving always saying must look for cheaper then run out of time

thats what i do every year george, leave it until its too late ........ my previous insurance used to automatically renew it and take the money out of my bank, so i thought i was insured, turned out i was driving around for nearly a month before i found out they hadnt took the money and cancelled the insurance .

thats why this year i checked before hand to avoid having no cover .

Have you got an insurance broker nearby David? let them do the spade work for you, get some quotes on your behalf and they take a commission I believe, you can always compare to online quotes you get yourself.

I pay £212 fully comp, protected no claims, RAC recovery, windscreen cover and a few other things this covers myself and wife too, its with Hastings Direct.

hastings direct want £729 for me colin ............ ive 20 years no claims , you must live in a posh area

what cars do you insure colin ...? petrol diesel ?

Had mine for years, they just send particulars of policy every year and the option of going elsewhere or otherwise just renew it on the terms given, if I do not reply
they just send me the renewal documents and grab my money Monthly direct debit.

There is a charge for going monthly but would be easier to cancel.

ive just gone with hastings misty, £200 cheaper than my renewal , not ideal but one i phoned wanted £2,700+ ......
