| What is the best way to clean pigeons? I have a white pigeon that looks like it's been digging the garden with it's breast. lol Can you use a mild shampoo with warm water? |

| hi matt , welcome to the site the best way if it,s realy dirty is use warm water with a splash of vinegar and a hand full of table salt every time you put the bath out keeps the lice at bay and its very good for there feathers . kev |

| Warm water in a hand bowl and you hold the pigeon in your hand and them place the pigeon in your hands in the warm water and clean the feathers |

| I agree with the others warm water and vinegar is good, years ago I used to wash oiled birds in the TEXACO centre here in pembrokeshire and we washed them in fairy liquid, it was excelant and doesnt harm the birds at all but rinse them thoughly so no more suds are seen. good luck |
