Birds down for 2011

About 8 weeks for me now befor I put my down for next year I like to breed early to give my youngstersa good start, the only thing with putting them down at that time is when they start to go out thats about the time when the BOP is about as all my birds go out together my old birds are BOP wise with going out every day and my young birds take off sharply with them and I lose some in this

what is the longest club race you fly ours is 571 miles

Barcelona 609 miles but dont like this inter thing it drags our birds all over the place

sorry you said club race it depends perpignon 570 or tabes 435

its a long season with the old birds thin theres around 18 -20 races

We only get about 20 races old and young its a hard and long season for are birds ones who bin though the races I can see the birds have had anough

can you rephrase the swecond part dont understand it

will be pairing first week in feb 5th , did pair end of december 2010 but had a very poor % of hatching....think this might have been down to the very cold weather but not sure, so will wait and see if its a bit milder and hopefully get a good round of ybs roughly the same sort of age. ordering 40 rings at tommorrows club meeting.

Its a lot better for me now as the bloke across the road had 5to 600 birds going out all at once it was a bit diffecult then but he is si bornmouth now its mad live for me a lot esayer

wow, 5-600 birds....... unbeleivable. i remember when i was younger it was a bit hard letting birds out on allotements, especially the ybs.........altho i think once they know where they are its not too bad.

That was just the race team he had about 500 stock birds as well in fact for the stock birbs he had said he paid £60,0000 for them and you could go there and pick whot you wanted for £25 each but no papers as he didnt no where they were from you new whot breed as they were all in the same loft but that was it
