| Hi What if any loft alterations will you be doing over the winter months, i myself will just be painting the outsides toi get them through another year Ken |

| going to change front have all mesh to front with polycarb panels that can be taken off in summer |

| will be finishing painting the outside of the big loft and then painting the small stockshed....would like to build an aviery on stock shed if possible but will have to see if i can get time to do it. dont think im going to bother painting the inside of lofts ill leave it as it is just wood as if its white i will need to keep up to it every year..... |

| just bought a loft of a mate 17 ft by 9 ft so will be takeing my old loft down and putting this one up. well as soon as i finnished the decorateing that is or the wife will be on my case |

| sounds a nice loft mark, 9 ft wide ?does it have a corridor along the front ? i remember when i got my loft, it was laid in the garden for months over winter.....nearly set fire to it on a few occasions as it looked that bad, now its up its not too bad so when its finnished and painted it will do for me. |

| you will have to have corridor at 9ft wide take for ever to catch them |

| sometimes wish i had a corridor on the front of mine for the bad weather and rain etc...but then i couldnt trap to the open door could i ? |

| David if memory serves me right ur loft is 6ft wide all you would need todo is take the front off extend the front say 2ft to incorparate ur corridor, put ur front back on so when you come to make ur corridor partition u put the corridor sliding doors adjacent to ur main doors Ken |

| yes, see what you mean ken....fed up already of getting soaked...lol be a lot better in the winter .we used to have one in the allotments with a corridor ,just 2 sections in the loft but it was alot better once inside the loft.... |

| Also helps when birds are confined to barracks they can go into the corridor while you clean out if you wish Ken |

no corridor but its a widdowhood loft with two sections one side for the widowhood cocks and the other for darkness for the ybs. but when its up i will have ideas of my own no doubt and change a few things lol |

| same here,just a coat of paint to keep it in shape for another year,hopefully no banging or alterations. |

| just took my stock loft down so i can move the old race pen over, use that for stock and put the new race pen in its place |

| remember i left mine over winter ken, nearly ended up burning it didnt i....lol got it up tho and done a bit of work on it and besides finishing my painting its not too bad i suppose.... |
