| just treated my loft front with creasote , also i painted my fence in the garden today big mistake it was bloody red hot had to stop to hot to do that . |

| been raining here today kev, lovely all week but turned today..............im going to have a big clean out of the lofts over this coming week and maybe renew the laysoft bedding etc, if i can get the loft built before the bad weather ill be happy enough as i can do the boxes and perches inside under cover. |

| hope it goes well for you david , but today down here it was 29 very very warm and still is just come back from the local had lunch out today it was manic out there . |

| it was 37 - 29 here during the week kev, at least we had a nice few summery days which we didnt expect eh...........cant grumble. |

never heard of this but , just recently for the new rebuild of lofts we got over 100 sheets of ply , stored in a metal container on opening it up and going in my eyes were stinging and the smell was horendous maybe theres something in this like to find out |

| Ian the smell could have come from the glue used rather than the wood |

Ginger if you have the video on Staf van Reet by Dave Allen, Dave comments on the new loft which is built for Staf's son Ronny and said the smell is not right within the loft Something to think about |

| busy doing finishing touches to me new stock loft and channel loft been busy building them along with an aviery ad a new stting cabin then start on a new front on the race loft |

| going to buid a second aivary on my 6x4 section only have a small one on their at the moment 4x2 ft going to add a 6x4 aivary to house 6 pairs of stock then everything else can fly out of the 2 main lofts will be alot less hastle it was the final straw when a new stock hen got out a couple of weeks ago she had only been here 6 weeks and blow me she came back a few hours later this will put pay to it happening again was lucky to get her back though |

| thats wy im building my aveiry in the middle of the stock and channel end as i lost a good stock hen that came from mr mrs crooks but i never seen her again |

| glad to hear you got her back darren......... when i get my new loft up im planning on re-doing the front, the previous owner altered it and added quite a bit of netting/wire, but ive been looking for ideas of how to do it in the weeklies etc. anyone got a nice plan for the front of my loft, im having it in three sections and it is 16 ft long.............. |
