| no rush alex, plenty of time yet.............no point pairing now and eggs not hatching, then still having to wait for more to hatch, might as well give it chance to come a bit milder....... |

| well from my own experience when i paired in the cold last year only 8 out of 22 eggs hatched, this might be due to a couple of reasons, one being the yb died in the egg, or another reason could be that the parents are leaving them and the ggs go cold........or another reason possibly could be that the cocks were not too bothered to tread the hens due to being cold themselves, as well all know in this weather all the birds are wanting to do is huddle up on the perch.........so as we also know a hen will lay regardless of being tred by a cock, resulting in an infertile egg, which will not hatch...... |

| since i restarted racing in 2001 i have paired up on boxing day , i have never had a bad hatch , so people putting infertile eggs down to cold weather, the problem lies elsewhere , |

| Not thought of any deadline with the onelofters, but i would like them all in within a few weeks of each (just makes life easier), so shall we say March to first week in April (that gives 4/5 weeks?
With any kind of breeding its worthwhile giving wheatgerm oils which are known to aid fertilly
