| But you are breeding more pigeons with a greater % of rubbish now and also most fanciers send just for the sake of it now just to make the numbers up |

| they say young bird losses are high but when you take the bhw most adverts are for 2010 birds due to few losses are these bred just for sales or are they better looked after birds of better quality |

Ian how many youngsters you having this year about 100 youngsters which is a lot but it all comes down to mob flying and getting a pigeon in the first batch the more you send the more chance you have of getting one in that first batch Sorry Ian just a number that come into my head as i know a lot of you in the north have large teams |

That makes on average 33 per member but it is always the same youngbird racing is on the up with larger birdage than before but not the same with old birds |

i think a good % of them are birdy.......its all about money with some of them nowadays. |
