| i think the 10 year old has done his bit and the old man deserves to be retired for stock as 3 x pau is a fair shout and he might breed you some good youngsters |

| yes me too, keep him at home for stock.......as for the others i see no reason why they shouldnt fly widowhood as long as the yearlings have had some experience at racing as young birds.......
p.s. as far as i know ron green who owned/trained the famous breakaway (59 1sts) eventually sent him one time too many and lost him..... |

| The one thing i would say about age is look at this years squills front cover that cock at 11 years of age was clocked in from Barcelona for me if the bird is conditioned correctly and not seen to many miles then it is up to the fancier

| don i also got told breakaway only ever raced the shorter races and that if two or three birds all came togeather ron would always clock breakaway first rather than another bird, to build up his winning record.........have you heard this ? |

| Yes mate that is 100% true, if 3 birds came together Breakaway was the first in the clock
Was told once that Ron had 4 cocks in the loft before Breakaway came waited for him clocked him in and then clocked the other 4 in 1,2,3,4 club not sure about fed results
This aways happened loads of times |

i understand what your saying ian, and altho the others who say the use of ets would make this hard....i do agree some will still do it to create a champion, which means big money for any yb bred from it. |
