Test loft update Aug 28

Hi Ladies/Gents,

Sorry for the lack of attendance but after numerous computer problems and with work & family commitments just not had the time....sorry

Anyhow you may remember...............the disaster training toss

Well after that we ended up with 5 birds in the loft (Birdy x 2, Don x 2, Ian x 1) plus 3 i collected over the following weeks which eventually died (flew themselves out). we eventually got back into training mode and got them plus our own going. Eventually dropping Dons blue on one of the last tosses.

So that left 4.

We missed the first 2 clubs races and entered the 3rd EXETER 105mile (sent 57 got 51 back) no test lofters missing

race 2 YELVERTON 131mile, sent 50 got 41 (real bad race with loads of birds missing), anyhow test lofters Birdy x 2, Ian x 1 all lost from this race.

So there we are - 1 original test bird surviving (Don's Red Cock which was donated by David)

As you will remember these were the only NFC rings i purchased this year, so will not be competing in the YB national as they charge and additional £5 per bird on top of the £3.50 entry fee if you enter non-NFC rings

We will send the red to the Wessex combine Carentan race, were he will return to be crowned Test Loft CHAMPION..

Cheers for the up date, must say over the moon with the fact my favorite colour Red is left if he returns from the combine race it would be nice to have a photo done of this cock

But lets hope he returns from the race fingers crossed but will talk about it later on after the season
