| IF THERE OLDER BIRDS KEEP THEM IN AND GET THEM ON EGGS THEN LET THE COCK OUT WHEN THE HENS SITTING AND THEN THE HEN WHEN COCKS SITTING COULD WORK OK |

| how long have they been in the dovecote ? i would emagine they need to have been living in there long enough to know this is home and where they get food.............ive seen some using a big net draped over the cote down onto the floor which makes a type of temporary aviery, |

| hi frankie, if they are recently weaned i would get them out as soon as i fely they had settled into the cote..........as graham said make sure they are hungry as food is the only way you will have any control over them.
if they have been weaned a while ago i would keep them in longer as they will know their old loft/cote more than yours........ |
