not sure if this is of interest to any one a very successful fancier always puts the honey in the drinker the night before so by the morning it has dissolved i would think after all the birds had there first drink he would then put in fresh water, what he went on to say putting it in hot water lost all the vitamins

Im sure if there are many vitamins in honey, but I know what your saying. There are amazing properties in honey including healing and preserving, but not too many vits, I dont think heat really tends to do much anyway, otherwise we wouldnt get any from our food as most meals are hot.
I always put honey in the water aftera arace and once a week off season.

i gave my birds honey and cider vinegar three times a week for a year, ive recently stopped it because as far as i could see it made no difference at all................it is supposed to be a natural antibiotic so im told and when i used it i would desolve it in warm, not boiling water as im told this "kills" it....... scratch
