add 1 table spoon to a cup of luke warm water then make up to 2 pints

hi mate ,i have been giving honey in the water and tea but only small amounts as i have been informed to much will give them sour crop. how much is to much i do not know tho mate so just go easy with it like the other guys. diluting it to much is better than giving much. Smile

Honey is good for the pigeons so i can not se how it can give your pigeons a sour crop confused confused

when i give them honey i also add cider vinegar at a rate of a teaspoon to a litre of water............

i used that a couple of years ago, bought it from holland and barrets health shop........cant remember how much it was tho.

hi don , i was told this by a very experienced fancier . i said i was giving honey to my birds he told me to just go sparingly as to much will give them sour crop . he dident give a reason why tho that i remember anyway. i will try and find out. Smile
