| drinkers frozen solid this morning, been very cold all day here too......also had a thin covering of snow late last night. |

| its cold out now, hope it doesnt freeze over again tonight......been having trouble with my back for the last few weeks and its just starting to feel a bit better, id say itsa put my pairing up back at least two weeks so i need to get organized now during this week... |

| i put it down to years of working on building sites ray, all strain on the back.........wear and tear on the joints, im sure it will be the same with you too...... |

| i think i remember ken takes his drinkers out at night to stop them freezing......then hes up early to fill them up. |

| i seen some loft heaters the other day for about 30 odd pound i think,if i had permanent power i would use them,i only have a generator |

| yes david there a guy by me like that takes drinker out then gose down early doors ... he done that for years in the winter he also turn all water supples off over winter ... |

| yea colleen been talking about heating in my loft but i said there is no electric in there so she was looking at a second hand wishper jenny to use down the alloment for me ... but i said that im fine and me birds r find then she was looking in the pigeon shop other day and looking at pigeon coats ... lol |

| hi i would love a sitting cabin like ur ray but i dont feel the cold as im always finding something to do when i go down there ... like other day in the snow i was digging holes for the platform and putting that up just got to wait now to put fence post mix in as it too cold ... then painting loft out and now working out where to put other loft up and need to do base for that one ... so i keep busy .... |

| i take the drinkers out when its dark, put them back in first thing this morning before work, got home at 3pm and they were frozen from top to botton absolute solid. Hope the parents are covering the youngsters well it was -6.5 this morning and then you have the wind factor, the front of the loft was frosted over!! |

| yes, my drinkers frozen this morning too, also hard to scrape out when droppings are frozen solid so sometimes ill leave till the next day.......onlything with doing this tho is that if tthey havethawed out they go all soft and horrible with the bird walking on it..... |
