| I have been sent some very disturbing facts over the past couple of days. Check this out. This was an email that I received. - Quote :
- Hi guys I have uncovered some very extremely weird and wonderful facts over the last few days and I would love to know what comes under the heading of fact or fiction.
in 1999 The UK Raptor Working Group after completing studies reported that there was in fact 34700 Breeding pairs of Sparrowhawks in Mainland Britain.
According to the BTO in 2000 there was in fact 40100 Breeding pairs in Britain.
So in one year if all successful breeding pairs had only a clutch of one then 27700 had failed attempts. This is staggering and quite well beyond belief.
In 2004 according to Ian Newton there was 32000 breeding breeding pairs in Britain. Then in 2010 The RSPB reported that there was in fact 40100 breeding pairs in Britain.
I put it to you gentlemen, that all of these figures are a complete fabrication and the true figure, I would not be surprised to say maybe true figures of breeding pairs in Britain, would be considerably higher, not including the amount of singles there may be floating around. This is why we are suffering so much at the hands of these raptors. One Sparrowhawk would consume approximately for arguments sake say 100 pigeons per year. |

| very disturbing gary, these rspb bas***ds are covering the true facts/numbers up, these so called surveys they conduct are smoke screens designed to cover up the facts and enable them to keep a firm grip on there protection orders............and also to deceive the public. |

| It's amazing what facts come to light, I've got an MP onside now, but like he says 651 signatures we would be laughed at. He has told me to do a statement of facts to put on the website, just to let everyone know who the Pigeon Fanciers Action group is. He has also give me some links to government pages to go through and study. Things are now just beginning to get interesting and it's amazing what s fresh pair of eyes can see. |

| I'm not consulting them anymore. No doubt it's been quiet for a reason They don't want help mate and if they did it would not be a two way street. I'm going to pm you a link it will make some good reading for you, but it may take some time to get through it, but you may be enlightened, I was. |

| I honestly think we have forces working against us. I'm not being paranoid, but I do believe this. I may also be in possession of some privileged information by the end of the week hopefully. But lots of things are now falling into place and are starting to make sense. |

| I know a couple of guys that have tried it George, but as with anything else they get used to it. The sparrowhawk is becoming a pest and it seems they are willing to brave anything to get their meal.
I have a sneaky suspicion Ginger that the true figure is actually much higher and that is only the the sparrowhawk figure, not including the other bops. |
