| i know its used in dave allens pigeon tonic
heres how its made
"D.A.Tonic" Take four whole garlic bulbs, peel and chop into small pieces, when i say bulbs i mean the whole lot. Four whole lemons cut into four pieces each. Four onions chopped into four pieces each. Boil two litres of water then add the above and leave to boil for 30 minutes, then add three desert spoons of pigeon tea and boil for further 10 minutes. Now add 50mls of Aqueous iodine and boil for a further 10 mins. Finally add 1/2kg of dark brown sugar and boil for further 10 mins. After you have completed the above process, leave the product for a day, having covered with cling film or some other type of cover. After two days take the lemon peel out, leaving the fruit in the pan. Now give it a good stir and sieve the juice into GLASS bottles which should be kept cool or it will start to ferment. Keep in fridge if at all possible. You can give it to the birds for 7 days to begin at the rate of 30mls per 5 litres. The just give once or twice per week and you will be amazed at the skin condition and general well being |

| hi darren, i remember approx 25 years ago the original aviform was mollassis based, we gave the birds this and did well racing......not sure if it was down to this mind you, but i do know avform altered it and it doesnt contain mollassis now. |
