My dear Wife had a canary when she was a girl and at night she would cover the cage. She suggested that I cover my basket when I take the birds to the club to send them on their way. Anyone do this...sounds as though it may make some sense in keeping your cocks quiet.

Raftree a top widowhood flyer in the midlands "Johnny McGee" always covered his cocks up when taking them to the club mate, the only time the cocks came from the cover was when they were being placed in the race markers hand

Nothing wrong with covering them up mate
