| Now I know why my younguns are being taken off everyday. I let them out this morning, no sooner had they attained a great height they were enveloped by these, about 50 mins later I watched them drop from this huge team. At least they are getting a good education and not dropping on someone elses loft.

| Distance pigeons, I think another one was a practicable guide. I used to be a big fan of barker pigeons. They are a very headstrong pigeon, but racing in weather like we have now been having of late, these birds will score everytime. I crossed them with janssens and won with them. I once entered a midweek race at a two bird club at Hereford, it was an extremely hard race, a strong northwest wind and heavy rain this end. I took first and second, my second bird was thirteen minutes clear. |

| All may have been revealed, the large batch of birds were not belonging to anyone in Southport. Apparently a few so them and said it looked like a lib from Leyland. I now have a theory, but not going to say owt until I find out for definite. |

| What a dickhead I am, it was a Scottish lib from Leyland, that took my birds off. At least they got some education. |

| this lot will pass over my loft tomos gaz ya reckon i should take advantage of some free training lol
the West Durham Amalgamation are racing from Leicester tomorrow (planning a 14:00 lib), the Up North Combine and the Durham Combine are both at Melton Mowbray - no news on planned lib times.
Be careful of your young birds if you live en route. |

| ok mate , i know what your theory is and could be true i saw 2 batches going over me at 1.30ish in lancaster one batch of about 40 and another right behind them of about 20 and nothing else, they were going hell for leather , i havent commented on that post on other site as dont want to be dragged into it , i must say though im bang on line of flight so its common to see birds all day but not usually on a sunday unless theres been holdovers on saturday , also these were racing and looked like they hadnt come far |

| Ive just had a young un drop in this morning, I think it's from Staffordshire judging by the ring number. Ive called the number on the wingstamp, but it was an answerphone, just waiting for a call back. |
