| I personally would go on the louella site, find either roland janssens, or eagleston buschearts and they will post anywhere. |

| yes it was my daughters idea to use them for weddings (as her uncles getting married next year) as well as racing, will be nice to get some birds in the loft, also do you have to home them like we did with our doves?

| I dont think the white dove release is as succesful as people would hope (or those trying to sell their businesses would tell you) with the recession people are making cut backs.
my mate does it locally and attends wedding fairs and has one hell of a set up but still doesnt get that many bookings in his words the birds cover there keep - just!!
If you can add it as a hobby type money maker then maybe it could work but certainly wouldnt put all your eggs in one basket with that one.
I bought a domain, looked into starting it and had the wife start designing and coding a website before i noticed it simply wouldnt be a viable option.
best wishes

| No the whites are not going to be a business!!if you read my other thread i have been building a small pigeon loft for the wife and kids,my oldest daughter(12)thought it would be a good idea to let some go at a wedding!if she wants to try and do it at other weddings parties then she has my full support it's not to make money!!the wife and kids like the whites and was hoping to get some as they look beautiful and would encourage them to handle them and get involved, a good start to the hobby.I am getting some racers for me but my daughters tell me "they are just pigeons".
If any one has got any pics of v perches, or give me a link to some nice wooden ones.

| I have a smashing pair of whites just thinking of leaving their pot eggs now. I was going to shut up the breeding box for the season but if you can sort out delivery etc I'll let them go down for a pair of latebreds for you. Let me know sharpish if you can otherwise I'll finish them for the year. Nice quiet, medium sized birds, they mature very quickly so you'd even get a few tosses in during october and into november if the weathers ok. |

| Custard slice from Greggs is the current rate mate. Same as the parents cost me! Seriously I just hope you get to enjoy them and no hawk problems. Earlier rounds are in friends race teams so we'll see how they perform in next few weeks. They are so easy to tame if we leave the back door open they wander around the house. Kids will love 'em. |
