Club meeting today......

went tomy first club meeting today, was controvacy over the new ets type rings......one member sent some back because the plastic was cracked and some the grooves were broken off. he rang the RPRA and they said "the cold weather could have made them brittle" so that doesnt sound very good for the new style rings does it........? he also asked if it was allowed for fanciers to file the grooves off the rings if they didnt use ets and he was told they would get back to him on that.
anyway seems like i joined the club just at the right time as its the fed prize night on the 23rd so me and the wife will be going along for a drink or two......... or three or four....

will you be going steve....? it was interesting going to the meeting today as i didnt say much but kept my ears open and listened to members talking, info gathering.....lol

already been to 3 meetings goint to agm to join and sort partnership for mate

ah right, havnt you joined yet steve ? i put my application in at the agm last month and sec phoned me to say id been accepted.......need to pay my money before racing starts but they said no rush yet. members collected their rings today and sec has 100 spare so if anyone on here needs any ill be able to get some for them.....

how much are your rings david ours are 22p each

dont know ian, i got mine from rpra which cost more than throught the club, i paid £14.75 for 40 rings but sec said i could have got 40 from club for £10..........
