yb training  Raypeel-1The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.

took yb for first chuck this afternoon my dad libbed them at 4.20 still 15 short from 32 sent only at toonmoor about 5mile as crow flys from loft took 1hr 25min for first bird to come came right out of back of loft waited another 20 min for next bird then got two then nowt more till 6 oclock then small batch came so looking a bit sh**e at the min but hope they find there way home the birds that came home seem to be all my later breed birds and some of the ones off peel bros going back down to allotment after tea hope to get as many chucks as possible this week then shit or bust hope to race in two weeks time if out like last year my first bird reported was all the way up in aberdeen just about 140miles away from loft lol

Thats good advice, I once let mine on a Sunday morning, I didn't there was a Scottish lib and mine went missing for near on five hours.

will do ray mate seen birds going over but not many just 1 n 2 dad said cleared well but no brains i think some when came home didnt seam to have a clue were they were i think it was a shock for them flying nearly two hrs when landed you think they had not been away for so long not a feather out of place no stress or panting god no's but they have to learn to use there heads some time better off been singled up home as they never come back in a batch when raced in are club never seen it happen in years may be two three at tops but never a batch lol
