winter blues

i was down the pigeon lofts today and found myself board of being with the birds , i never felt like that before about my pigeons i hope its just the winter blues and not a sign that i had anough.

just watch bop starving birds not out, that will cheer you up

Mark after your health problem's and going in and out of hospital. I should think you are feeling a bit down at the moment. But things will pick up. And please please dont think of parting with the birds as it will be the biggest mistake you ever make.

My advice is just keep coming on here and reading some of the post's by are resident jokes, i wont name any names like Steve and David and Ian and Don and Ray Whoops i only ment to think not type it in ( silly me)

stick in they sure things will turn out ok

not sure if I can help a bit..but just before xmass I had a really bad back and strugglred to clean the lofts out for a week, I love clean lofts and It really made me think what the hell am I doing, but weeks later i WAS MAD FOR IT AGAIN, I have been lucky with my health and not had any problems but that week really tested me and thats what it does to you, when the youngsters are flying out and your sitting in the summer rays, it will look better.

yes mark, i agree with martyn........sometimes when you are ill or have been ill it seems to dishearten you and makes you feel like you cant be bothered with them, last year i have the flu for nearly two weeks and i totally lost all interest in pigeons, i couldnt even be bothered to read about them......then one morning i woke up and felt a little bit better and also felt like going down to see how the birds were doing, stick at it mark, im sure you have been through this before yourself and eventually got back into it......

the pigeons will be good for health keeping active, ive been a home carer nearly 6 years looking after wife, got arthritus in both knees heart probs angina, shouldnt do heavy lifting but did building loft, ready for summer relaxation waiting for birds, a few hours a day away from wife is far better than an apple a day you will be down mate with worries about health but you would miss birds

yeah spent some time down the lofts today with the birds helped me relaxe a lot i of to hospital on the 12th feb hope to get sorted
