best short sprinters

bit of advice wanted please. which strain of birds would be the best sprinters for distance of 80 to 100 mile.

hereman-ceusters are making a name for themselves mate, get them from the right place and you wont go far wrong.

Many strains can do the job, but if I were you I wouldnt get hung up on a strain of pigeons, my advice would be take your time and study the results of fanciers nearby the area you are planning to compete in and purchase a full round of young birds or latebreds from the stock loft of a fancier who is winning out of turn in these short races preferably this fancier doesnt have the best drop or isnt favoured by the wind most weeks.
You are then giving yourself the best odds of obtaining some good pigeons that will be competetive in your chosen area. The rest is then down to you. Good luck in your quest.

theres plenty good quality speed /sprint birds about i would go to some one out of position that scores well get y/bs and his system from him remember he who masters the art of feeding is almost there sean

Chris what do you think of the stickers -donker pigeons

there are loads of good sprint birds but they are plenty of good sprint flyers.its like thet say you can buy the pigeons but not the man.i have bought plenty of ybs are some good flyers but they have,nt suited our methods.if you hit a winning family your doing well,its just finding that family

for me sprint racing is more about your system and the man behind it but with distance its more about the birds themselves jmo i like the gevaert van schoorisse pigeons they have loads of character
