| on ETS rings as well as the pigeon details the chip has a serial number and can be traced because when it goes through the chip ID number can show |

To be honest Ray,whenever we have had a stray come in,the 1st thing we do is put it in a hospital cage in the garage, then give it a spray with permetherin, ivormectin next,a good class wormer,and2nd day 1/4 ,tab flagl its suprising the wonderful condition these birds have after 3 days resting, and if they have an ets ring on we take it off and keep it for ourselves,as a form of payement for the good work we have done, you can reasign all makes of ets ring yourself, and i suppose it helps us keep costs down |

| I have a body shop and have also tryed a bonder we use for sticking plastics together and its fantastic I can send you some, its 10 quid for a tube it has 2 liquids you mix together when it goes off its bomb proof but if you want to use the ring on another bird forget it, you will have to cut it off which is then no good. |

| We got Brikon you can delete rings and re issue them easy, and thats a good thing if you ask me, you cannot trace them would be almost impossible they do have a unique number but unless you ask every club in the world to look for the numbers forget it, they are only a pound.....youd be mad. |

Yes mate I have bricon, but on a master system the chip still has its own identifying number but only if the bird and ring was had by a clubmate |

| your right there Ray not fanciers If they kill it for spite, but what I do witht the ring means if you get it off youll have to cut it making it useless, if you kill the bird and cut off the leg it will never go back on a bird, so pointless eiither way. |
