Will there be a YB Exchange happening for 2015?

I don't race and would not like to try with all the winged vermin there is
I had to get rid of my rollers because of the barsteward peregrines so I am concentrating on show racers

yes, unfortunately this seems to be a problem for most fanciers and some more than others.
I for one have had the sparrowhawk swoop round my gable end and strike the yb off the loft, this is in the middle of a built up area too.

yep common thing here in Burnley as well , and then the winged marauders from above are worse

I think that is a cracker of an idea here A-Star I wish you well . Never quite know ??? where one could pick up a champion from etc. Thou !!! those champs   G   posted here recently, may be best to give a miss .

its a good idea but I am not involving myself with ybs this year having second half of the summer off for day trips and a holiday with my family this year

I don't have room and don't race but should any member would like to test a pair feel free to ask

Should anyone fancy doing an exchange with myself, i'm happy to get involved with it.

I did mention at Blackpool last year to Rene although i'm not sure he remembers

If possible i would like someone with long or even extreme distance pigeons to exchange with

ive slept since then mate plus had had a few over that weekend its all a bit of a blur tbh

Yes mate i think most of us had a skin full that night.

The offer still stands though Rene, i said the night your Bex was singing that i would breed you a pair of youngsters, whether we do it as an exchange of yb's or not.
I will be pairing up mid Feb this year.

The yb exchange was a great idea.wish it could be done again as it generated interest on the site.but if it does not take off anyone is welcome to try some of mine

think your right ray it don't need to be a exchange if members are willing to offer ybs to race i'm all for that in the past I've given ybs away only to find out they went in the stock loft

yeah they should be raced George at least I don't think its fair to stick um in the stock loft

I'm interested in young bird exchange I'm in Newcastle swop a few pair or I'll try some out for yous if anyone wants to

No offence Tony but for me, a somewhat strange comment etc "How far is too far" when looking for good birds. When one considers, birds are being moved around like pieces on a chess board where you are by pigeon couriers. One could have a golden opportunity to pick up some cracker pigeons just for the cost of a courier & free type of thing here.
