| Just a thought to finish off this topic, for all the fanciers who mate best to best hoping for the best, here is a true story.
The most famous pigeon fanciers of all time my heros the Janssens, had an even more famous pigeon the 019, now being that the Janssens helped found hundreds of famous lofts over many decades and were infamous for breeding qualities here is where it shows best doesn't always begat best.
The 019 was an amazing pigeon and several of his brothers were equally brilliant racers, the 019 won 18 firsts and many many other prizes he was put to stock by the Janssens and failed, all his brothers including 1 which didn't race well bred many many winners but the 019 none. I would liked to have looked at his eye but I bet it was a racing eye only. |

| Hi Halcanada
Is this pigeon a youngster /yearling ????
If yes needs time to develop as the eye looks abit dishy but there is a shade of green in the iris which can be good for breeding JMO
