32f here at 8am. Getting up to 40 with sunshine. Aviary comes off hen/YB landing board and traps open in other racing loft. They will mate themselves, choose loft of choice. Yb will be out with them. getting old now. Probably lose a few. Hawks around but nothing I can do about that. They are on their own now. Open lofts all day.

have you ever had a hawk go in the loft hal

Sunny again able to get the birds out again I hope this keeps up

Oldstrain. Had two Coopers in at one time few years ago. Got them both eventually with swedish Goshawk trap.
All went well yesterday. The feather footed young bird spent the night out but trapped today. Put hay in today for nesting material. Kept them in for the day. Hawks around again. Tomorrow open loft again.

rain until 4pm at least best go and get me corn today I think and some goodies with me winnings from yesterday

think its called a Larsen trap....I play a dvd of eagle owls mating not quite sure what the neighbours think but its better than barry manilow

not very good here today but still managed to get the birds out

been fine here up until 5 mins ago when it started pouring down........ybs had the second feed of the day and coming along nicely so far
