Weather Today........21/1/15

too nasty here for ybs out rick, terrible wind,snow and rain here..........hope it clears up enough for you this week.

same here im on holiday for a week thought get the ybs out and settled this week don't think I will get much of that done with this weather .they r sat in the trap looking out so hopefully they r taking the sites in

winds blowing a gale here ffs cant get owt done having a bad day should have stopped in bed

pretty windy here too had birds out this morning though and hopefully again this afternoon but had 1 cock messing about wondered why and I looked up and the dreaded beast was overhead yes a big big percy luckily she was passing through and had breakfast already but the wingspan was big and I mean big
nice and sunny here now

cold start to the day here .but the wind as died down so will get my ybs out today and get my flagging done .squeaky bum time

dry here gonna be fair weather for next 7 days

well got the ybs out they had a little flutter then trapped bk in straight as I opened there trap got my flagging done im happy with today

so long as you are not using one of those multi coloured flags ric you just might get more than you bargained for ...stampede

Snow and then freezing rain. Snow later tonight. Freezing rain buggered up my live trap. Would not spring. Something got in the aviary two nights ago ate a YB. Think a raccoon. Could be a possum. Anyway, in case it is a coon have coke and fly bait mix out. 22 just waiting for him also.Oh well, joys of pigeons.

Cracker of a day here now been out & done a few manly things etc Hung the washing, done the dishes & cleaned up all the mess in the garden here that she who must be obeyed left for me from yesterday. Now !!! I hear the bell ringing in the background. The Duchess is calling for her man servant, to bring her breakfast in bed again. As such, I must go .

Raccoon. Clever buggers, use their hands. Open latches etc,. He killed one young bird and put claw marks in another. Think he drnk a little coke and fly bait, he was actng stupid around the loft. Broad daylight and these critters are nocturnal. shot him. Live trap is set again with beef kidney. There is usually more than one mating time.

Glad you got it Hal No Raccoons here etc, plenty of foxes tho. but the Raccoonns leave them for dead if they can open latches.

Unfortunately, the moggy is no longer here. It had a brain fart. Nothing out there now but rabbits playing in the snow. Full moon. 3 am here. Getting to above freezing next few days then birds will be out. Finally!! Long winter.
