why do pigeon men try and make it hard ???

what food ?

what systems?

what loft ??????

do they need sun don't they ?

r they expensive birds that win r they not ?

imo just make the best of what u got ,make ur doos happy and they will make u happy treat them with respect and they will respect you back, im talking about 1 thing u cant buy u carn't feed and u cant build with a hammer its a bond its trust imo its the most important thing in pigeon racing

my pigeon that won a big race last year had is weekly ciycle the same as always saturday after a race peas and beans to help his muscles then I broke him down slightly then give him a widowhood mix the same as 80% of fanciers do but the secret is what I put in his water a little garlic sunday as i always did ??? then nothing but plain water I look at some topics and im wondering with all the tonics they cant fit in the best thing for there birds.a man can last near on 2week without food how long can he cope without fresh water ????

Nice to see you back on track Rick cleaned the system out did we . One can spin the bottle any way ones likes etc in this caper, but I suspect in the end it comes down to "LOVE" XXX for the box/perch/mate/owner type of thing. The goodies jar for the most part is someone out to make a buck at our expence, from my point of view. Now !!! watch out for those peas/beans they are poison so I'm told & will give you young bird sickness .

My best pigeon,which is the best pigeon in my pigeon career I ever owned, wins without a system, no training and no special tonics or vitamins because I don't give any, so not difficult find good pigeons and you win.

But believe me the last statement is the hardest, as I said its the best pigeon I ever owned its 1 pigeon, and I don't have another like it yet?

their are a few things on the market that I would advocate but most are rubbish

don't get me wrong this season just for a complete change I have bought a probiotic type powder which has good bacteria in it, its not a miracle fix or an attempt to make them faster or any kind of nonsence, its just as a trial to see if it makes any kind of difference, and its natural.

Rudd I must admit here sadly, I'm having trouble getting my head around the probiotic issue etc. Give them a spoonful & you have billions of good bacteria just waiting there to go to work "Weird".
