The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.

A few years back I brought a young hen in for the first couple of breeding season's she was fine then the third year she started to pluck the feathers out of the youngsters at about 12 days old I had to let her feed the youngsters then lock her out of the box and the cock in the box no other birds did this plenty of grit and minerals vitamins and clay blocks no red mites in the boxes or nest bowls
