Never eaten tripe ; but they tell me is good ?lol
Your one lucky fellow K MY old man was a butcher, when he wasn't pissed to the eye balls etc & he had a thing about tripe & it's benefits ???. Mum fed it to us all nearly every day of the week because the old man was a saddist I suspect. It got that bad, mum used to just give it to us in batter, no tripe etc till he caught on & all hell broke loose sadly for poor old mum. Fortunately even tho we were all very young we parted ways thank fully but I still carn't get rid of the tripe senaro sadly.

It appears David you weren't one of those types, that had to pull the walls apart etc like many, to just get wood for the fire in winter, to keep warm .
